Food That improve Better Sleep

Foods full of vitamins and minerals would be the basic components of a healthy diet - promoting healthy cell
function, helping regulate weight, supplying the energy we need to get through our busy days. Most of the foods that are most healthful to the bodies and our waistlines are the foods that can help us sleep better.

Here are a few suggestions for creating a sleep-friendly diet:

Almonds
Full of magnesium, almonds are often suggested like a healthy snack food. What you might not have known, is the fact that almonds also contain melatonin, which will help the body to regulate the sleep cycle. Try a number of almonds as an after dinner snack and you'll snoozin’ in no time.

Bananas
if you are already eating bananas regularly then good on ya! If you're not, then you might want to reconsider. Bananas are full of potassium and magnesium, two essential vitamins your system needs for muscle relaxation. Additionally, bananas contain an protein tryptophan, which the body later converts into serotonin and melatonin. Too much scientific information? To put it simply Bananas = relaxed muscles and calming hormones.

Fish
Additionally a good source of protein, fish is a good idea when it comes to regulating your sleep cycle for 2 reasons. Firstly, fish includes a lot of vitamin B6 which is crucial for your body to produce melatonin. Secondly, fish contain lots of tryptophan which, as mentioned previously, your body converts into hormones that are required to induce sleep.

Spinach
Much like bananas, Spinach contains loads of potassium and magnesium. Additionally, spinach contains calcium which will help the body produce melatonin and regulate the sleep better cycle. With no, you may not substitute calcium supplements to prevent spinach (which you may remember from last week’s post.) Besides, it's already been scientifically proven that Popeye’s diet was extremely healthy.

Cherries
As being a good source of antioxidants is exactly what cherries are usually known for when it comes to well balanced meals; however, did you know these tasty fruits naturally contain high amounts of melatonin? Australian cherries are only in season from November to February if you don’t want to wait that long, a glass of cherry juice may also boost melatonin levels in the body not to mention induce sleep.
